I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, while spacious, felt a bit worn out due to a change in ownership. Surprisingly, being next to the elevator turned out to be convenient for me, and I would request the same location in the future. The balcony added a lovely touch, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. However, the service was lacking, with promised services missing and staff being rude during check-in without any apologies. The location, rich in history and close to a soft beach, was marred by noise from the main road and unfortunate water incidents. The dining options were simple but satisfying, offering pulled pork sandwiches and fresh salads, while facilities were adequate but nothing exceptional.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The room I stayed in, located by the front desk on the first floor, was pretty spacious and not a far walk from the beach. The balcony outside truly added to the upgrade, making it a lovely space to relax. The service was top-notch, radiating with warmth and aloha, from the front desk to housekeeping and maintenance. The pool gentleman was extremely helpful. The location, although not close to the national park, was perfect in terms of proximity to the beach and pool access. As for dining, the pulled pork sandwiches and salad were delicious, but an earlier drink service would have been appreciated. I found the facilities well-maintained and enjoyable.

The hotel was like a little community with a store, restaurant, and a laundry room area, offering fabulous, nicely decorated, and very comfortable rooms with a complete kitchen. It was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I 've ever seen; however, the initial bad unit experience was a spoiler.
